On a Mac there are three, and the app itself tells you which one is missing:
- ·Input Monitoring, to notice that you are holding the key.
- ·Accessibility, to type the text for you.
- ·Microphone, to hear your voice.
Also set System Settings → Keyboard → "Press 🌐 key to" → Do Nothing. Without it, macOS opens the emoji picker when you press the key. The app is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized, so it opens on a double click with no security warning.
