Client posts in Claude Design, without redoing them a thousand times

The step by step from the video, 3 prompts to copy and, as a bonus, 5 free tools so Claude stops delivering generic design.

how to use

The idea is simple: instead of making one design, the client not liking it and you redoing it again, you teach Claude the brand once, ask for several options at once and tweak the details on the spot, with the client watching.

Make one project per client. That way the context is saved and every new post already comes out looking like the brand.

step by step

From zero to an approved design

1Create a project in Claude Design just for this client.
2Give the project context: what the company does, who it sells to, how it talks. Use prompt 1 below.
3Bring the visual identity: logo, colors, fonts and, if there is one, the brand guide.
4Bring references: screenshots of posts the client likes and the style you are going for.
5Ask for 3 to 6 different designs for the same post (prompt 2). That way you check it understood what you want before moving on.
6Send the options to the client to choose. They approve one, and there is no back and forth.
7Tweak it right on the canvas: text color, spacing, image size, font. You click and change it, without asking the AI to swap a detail.
8Bigger change, like the whole layout? Leave a comment on the element or use prompt 3 in the chat, and Claude edits it.
prompt 1

The brand context

Paste it at the start of the project and fill in what is in brackets. Attach the logo, palette and references.

brand context
You are going to create the Instagram posts for a client of mine. Before creating anything, understand the brand.

COMPANY: [name and what it does, in one sentence]
AUDIENCE: [who it sells to]
TONE OF VOICE: [e.g. friendly and playful / serious and technical]
COLORS: [color codes, or use the attached palette]
FONTS: [font names]
LOGO: attached.
REFERENCES: I attached screenshots of posts the client likes. Notice what they have in common (spacing, font weight, use of photos, amount of text).
STYLE I WANT: [name the style, e.g. minimalist editorial, brutalist, collage, 90s retro]

Rules:
- Use only the brand colors and fonts.
- Little text per design, with clear hierarchy.
- Format: [1080x1350 for feed / 1080x1920 for stories].

Before creating, tell me in a few lines what you understood about the brand and the style.

Tip: name the style. "Pretty", "clean" and "sophisticated" mean nothing to the AI; "minimalist editorial with lots of white space" does.

prompt 2

The options for the client

3 to 6 designs
Create [4] different designs for this post:

TOPIC: [what the post is about]
TEXT ON THE DESIGN: [headline and, if any, a supporting line]
GOAL: [e.g. promote a sale / explain a service]

Each option has to be very different from the others: change the layout, the text position and the use of images, but keep the brand identity.

Place the options side by side on the canvas, numbered, so I can send them to the client to choose.
prompt 3

When the client chooses

tweak the chosen one
The client chose option [2]. Keep its layout and make only these changes:

- [e.g. swap the photo for the attached one]
- [e.g. make the headline bigger]

Do not change colors, fonts or the rest of the composition.
to save time

When the client approves a design, ask Claude to turn it into a template: on the next post you only swap the text and the photo.
